The heat-resistant (.16) and heated-head (.11 and .26) series of air and gas diaphragm pumps represent one of our many specialized designs. Equipped for the efficient transport of hot gas samples in environmental and analytical instruments, these pumps handle gas temperatures up to 460°F (240°C). Special construction isolates the bearings and motor from the heat for longer component life. The heated-head model uses an electrically heated cartridge controlled by a thermostat or an optional programmable temperature controller, to maintain specified head temperature. This heating prevents condensate from forming within the head, to reduce pump corrosion and eliminate sample component dropout.
Supplied without the heating system, the heat-resistant model uses identical heat-isolating construction and is ideal for handling hot, gaseous samples. |
